Welcome to the West Campus of The Austin Stone!
Our desire is to be in the geographical center of West Austin - to be a place where people of all generations come together to worship Jesus, hear the Bible taught, develop spiritual friendships, and live in such a way that our community comes to know and love Jesus! We want the people of West Austin to know Jesus personally and for our church family to build relationships with neighbors and co-workers, demonstrating and declaring the gospel in everyday life.
Our West Campus gathers for worship at the Westlake Performing Arts Center. We also operate out of our West Ministry Center (1001 S Capital of TX Hwy, Bldg. "I", Suite 100, Austin TX 78746).
Your Campus Pastor,
Ready to take your next step of involvement with the West Campus of the Austin Stone? Whether it’s joining a missional community, becoming a partner, or getting connected to a service team, we’d love to help you get involved. Click the link above to fill out a short form. Someone from our campus team will contact you for more information about how to take your next step.
We’re a multi-generational group of people from all walks of life. Our people are young professional, single, married, married with 1 – 6 kids, single again, empty nesters, and so on.
Our West campus has two primary meeting locations in the heart of geographical west Austin: our worship gathering at the Westlake Performing Arts Center (4100 Westbank Drive, Austin, Texas 78746), and our mid-week meeting space at our West Ministry Center (1001 S Capital of TX Hwy, Bldg. "I", Suite 100). Service starts at 10am.
We gather to celebrate what Jesus has done for us. A live worship band leads us in music, which is followed by a live video stream of the sermon from our downtown campus.
The Austin Stone is a casual environment. Please wear whatever you are comfortable in. Some people wear shorts. Some people wear sports coats (but not many). Jeans are also very common.
Nothing is necessary. The scripture passage we’re studying will be on the screen during the sermon. Some people like to bring their Bible or use a Bible app on their phones.
If you're a first-time guest, we invite you to fill out the Connection Cards provided in the foyer. We want to thank you for coming, answer your questions, and help you to get involved in our church family when you’re ready to take that step. You can turn in your card when we collect the offering, or give it to any volunteer in the foyer.
At the Austin Stone, rather than simply babysitting, we believe in actively teaching your children and supporting your leadership as parents. If you have a child between the ages of 8 weeks to the 5th grade, follow the signs to the KIDS check-in area. When you drop-off your child in KIDS, you can rest assured they will be cared for by screened, interviewed, and trained volunteers who love Jesus and your children. For more information, feel free to reach out to Brooke Anderson, our KIDS Director.
If you’re between 6th–12th grade, make sure to check out our STUDENTS ministry. At all of our campuses, our students hold their own worship service with teaching that is specifically intended for all teens navigating this important and unique stage of life. For more information, feel free to reach out to Scott Frazier, our STUDENTS Director.
Come to our Connect Class on September 20th and September 27th. You'll meet some people, hear about our campus, and understand better how to get connected. Click here to register.
