Trips
Jesus said, “As the Father has sent me, so I send you” (John 20:21). Throughout this year and next you will have incredible opportunities to join God on mission among the nations. There are several ways to participate with us. You can help make others aware of the opportunities to serve; you can support those who are going through prayer or financially; or you can apply to go with one of the teams.
Teams that go will participate in several types of ministry: education, evangelism, medical, exposure, and construction. No matter which role you participate in, our ultimate goal is to develop disciples of Jesus Christ who share His heart and vision for the entire world.

The team will work closely with Austin-based non-profit Makarios and local churches to serve our neighbors in the Dominican Republic. Whether helping with the improvement of the educational opportunities for the youth, staging a VBS, or by engaging in relational outreach to the villages through a local church, the ultimate mission is to point them to the loving message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Work with local believers in sharing the Gospel to their neighborhoods. Prayer walk with the local workers asking God to give opportunities to share the Gospel. Have an opportunity to minister to nomadic populations that have little access to the Gospel. God is moving in great ways in this North African community and you can join them in proclaiming the Gospel.

The 2010 Global Cities Index ranked NYC as the world’s top global city, making it one of the most strategic places at the most strategic time in history to “make disciples of all nations.”
Teams will partner with Global Gates in long-term efforts to see movements of the gospel among the unreached.
Each day, teams will:
1. Worship and train together
2. Go out in small groups to engage and share our faith with the many unreached people groups of NYC
3. Invite those interested in the gospel to start a Bible study in their homes

Middle East 1
College - Go Summer Project
May 29 - June 28, 2013
The city we'll be going to is one of the fastest growing mega-cities of the Middle East and one of the most influential in the Arab world. We'll be studying Arabic and meeting some of the 200,000 students who study there, most of whom have never met a follower of Jesus before.
We'll spend a lot of time with these students—practicing the little Arabic we are learning and helping them with their English—all the while building relationships, making friends, and sharing with them about our relationship with God through Jesus. Click here for more information.

April 10-17, 2013
Take a "learning journey" to Haiti with Help One Now. The goal of this trip is to enter into Haiti's story by connecting with the community, building deep relationships, and gaining an understanding of how we can partner together to make a long-term impact. The team will meet with local leaders, see projects in action, spend time with orphans and vulnerable children, and participate in the construction of a house. Come and serve alongside Haitian leaders who are already making a difference and be a part of the redemptive work of the gospel being lived out when the global church partners together.
