"On a short-term trip to western Europe, some of our Austin Stone college students met T, an immigrant with whom they shared the gospel. They connected T with long-term partners in the country, and since then, T has been spending hours each week talking about God and the Bible with our long-term partners. The veil of the enemy is slowly lifting from T's eyes as she eagerly reads Scripture, particularly the Gospels, alongside other believers. Praise God for how He uses our short-term teams to participate in the work He is already doing among the nations!”

“As a Goer Missional Community, we had been praying for one of our friends to come into the kingdom. This friend had heard the gospel multiple times throughout college, and we were praying for God to move in her heart. One day during our community hour of prayer, we prayed for her, and only a couple minutes after we finished praying, she called me and said, "I havefelt God tugging on my heart today more than usual, and I want to become a believer now!”

Move Forward

In the coming year, our church will participate in launching a new initiative called 100 UPG Cooperative. We will partner with like-minded churches and ministries to catalyze reproducing movements of churches among 100 unreached people groups who little to no access to the gospel. We praise God for the ways He has used The Austin Stone to advance the gospel among the unreached, and we are expectant to see the ways God may use this cooperative of many local churches to accomplish His mission. Join us in praying for 100 unreached people groups to be reached with the good news of Jesus.

Also this year, we hope to expand equipping and care for the hundreds of people who serve in various sending roles within our church body. To do so, we plan to launch new equipping and communication resources for Advocacy Teams and further support those at The Austin Stone who serve our goers medically, legally, in business, and through physical needs such as housing and transportation.
