Parent Child Dedication

April 30 / 9:15am-10:30am / The Pink Room across from the Library

Parent Child Dedication is a celebration of a covenant partnership between the church and a child's parents to shepherd, discipline, and instruct him or her in the ways of the Lord. This is a great joy for us to share in with parents and if you are interested in participating in our next Parent Child Dedication, we are holding a mandatory class at Paredes Middle School on Sunday, April 30th, from 9:15am-10:30am. To sign up for the class, please click here. For any questions, please email Rob Lourcey.

MC Connect

Sunday, April 30 / 11:15am-12:30pm / Paredes Middle School

MC Connect is the best way to get connected to a community of believers at The Austin Stone. No matter how long you've been attending The Austin Stone, we want you to feel like a valuable part of our church family. Throughout the Bible, we see the command to live out our faith with other believers by our side. Life can be hard and its important for our joy and endurance to have community to remind us of the good news of Jesus.

The first four weeks (April 30-May 21) will be held in the library at Parades Middle School from 11:15am-12:30pm. The second four weeks (May 21-June 11) will be held in the MC Leader's home on a night mutually decided on within the group. Because we are trying to building a foundation for community, attending all eight weeks is strongly encouraged.

To sign up for MC Connect, please click here.

KIDS Volunteers Needed

Looking for a place to volunteer? Come serve with us in KIDS! The KIDS ministry at South is growing rapidly. Praise God! It is our joy to share the Gospel of Jesus with the children of South Austin and minister to parents along the way. Parent Social

Sunday, May 7 / 7-9pm / Paredes Middle School Cafeteria

On Sunday, May 7, South STUDENTS will be having our annual Spring Parent Social. All parents of STUDENTS and parents of fall 2017 incoming 5th graders are encouraged to attend.

This night has three intended purposes: for you to meet other parents, hear information about the upcoming summer and fall, and discuss a few of the difficult topics facing your teens today. During the night, we will be doing a trivia competition between parent groups and one of the answers will be our new STUDENTS core values: Truth, Discipleship, Community, Mission & Service.

-The theme of the night? Dress like your kid—it's a classic. Spend a night in your child's shoes, literally!

-Dinner is on us. We're eating some good ol' fashioned Rudy's BBQ! Come hungry.

-Please plan to make other arrangements for your children. We don't want the kiddos to hear us talking about them!

RSVP here.

Please email Dan Robinson at with any questions.

Baptism Class

May 7 / 9:15am / The Pink Room across from the Library

If you have never been baptized and want to know more about it, this is the class for you. We will look at the biblical reasons for baptism and let you know why we baptize at The Austin Stone. Please click here to register for the Baptism class. For more information, please contact Kaila D'Addeo.
