Though my parents were great examples of faith in God, it wasn't until college that God's plan for me became very tangible. His sovereignty and providence were clearly shown to me when He reached down, grabbed me out of the pig slop, and said, "You're mine, it's time to go."
My family and I have been partners at the Austin Stone since 2004. My wife Kim and I have 2 boys (Tyler and Grayson) and a ridiculously-adorable, little girl (Bentley). We've served the Austin Stone as missional community leaders, small group leaders in the nearly/newly wed and the married life classes, and marriage mentors.
I got my B.B.A. in Marketing from Baylor University in '99 and have been in professional sales/sales management for the entirety of my professional career, primarily selling technology products and services. In a nutshell, I manage relationships. I am in my wheel house when something is wrong and somebody is upset, and that's what I spend most of my time addressing.
I enjoy any and all opportunities to network and get people together. I want to see the men and women of The Austin Stone develop into a people known for the gospel and want His glory more than anything else. I am abundantly blessed that I have the opportunity to serve a church that exists for the supremacy of the name and purpose of Jesus Christ.
