When Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas Gulf Coast, David Campise felt an urgent need to respond. Equipped with a truck and trailer, he took action to meet people’s need for clean drinking water. With less than 24 hours' notice, the people of the Austin Stone Community Church collected thousands of bottles of water. Because of their generosity, Campise and a group of volunteers were able to meet a huge need in Bridge City, Texas.
There are still thousands of families along the Gulf Coast that are desperately seeking help. As believers, we have the unique opportunity to share the love of Christ by serving them in their time of need. The time for action is now. To find out how you can serve, go to austinstone.org/harvey.
