Dr. Gregory Alan Thornbury leads The King’s College as its sixth President and continues to guide the College in its commitment to the Bible, the liberal arts, and to educating and training graduates to lead and engage culture.
As a writer and speaker on philosophy, theology, education, spirituality, and public thought, Gregory helps The King’s College further the legacy of the great Christian intellectual tradition that has shaped Western culture.
Gregory and his wife, Kimberly, have been married for more than 20 years. They live with their two daughters, Katherine Elizabeth and Carolyn Taylor, in Manhattan.
Tony Merida is the founding pastor of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. He also serves as Associate Professor for Preaching at Southeastern Baptist Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
Coauthor of "Orphanology" and author of "Faithful Preaching" and “Ordinary," Tony works to inspire another generation with expositional, Christ-centered preaching. Along with David Platt and Danny Akin, Tony serves as a general editor and as contributor for the commentary series, "Christ-Centered Exposition Commentary."
He and his wife, Kimberly, live in Raleigh, NC, with their five adopted children. Tony speaks around the world at a variety of events, including church planting conferences, pastors’ conferences, orphan care events, student camps, and for courses at theological institutions.
Steve Timmis serves as the CEO for the Acts 29 Network and is the coauthor of the books "Total Church," Everyday Church," and "Gospel Centered Life." Steve lives in the UK where he is also part of the central leadership team at The Crowded House, an Acts 29 church.
As co-director of The Porterbrook Network, Steve helps train and mentor church planters, and he is also well known for his passion to reshape what gospel mission looks like when we open our lives to those inside and outside of the church.
In March 2012, Scott began serving as the Senior Minister of Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife, Patti, and two daughters, Abby and Ellie. Previously, Scott was a lead and preaching pastor for Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, where he worked alongside Dr. Timothy Keller.
Scott has also planted churches in Kansas City and St. Louis, and is a frequent speaker at conferences, leadership retreats, and to university students. He is the author of "Jesus Outside the Lines" and “Befriend," and also writes weekly on his blog at scottsauls.com.
