Day 11

psalm 22:27-28

Before you begin, take a few moments to quiet your mind and prepare your heart to receive God’s Word. Read the following passage at least twice, and then pray through the points below.

27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. 28 For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.

Today's prayer points

The Lord rules over all the nations (22:28). His kingship defines His relationship to everything and everyone He has created. Take a few moments to worship God your King, who reigns with kindness and justice.

Pray that God would show us which people groups are ready to turn to Him. Pray that He would prepare paths and ways right now for us to send gospel messengers to those who are ready to hear the good news of Jesus.

Pray that God would remove any internal or external hindrances from going to those people groups who are ready to hear. As God reveals these hindrances, pray that we would be gracious and compassionate with one another, forgiving one another another as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32). Pray that we would lovingly admonish one another for the sake of the gospel and for the nations who need to hear it.
