Whether concerts, conferences, or marathons, it seems like there's always something going on in Austin. On weekends when events are taking place in Downtown Austin, be sure to leave your homes with plenty of extra time to account for traffic.
Below are ways to show how to access Austin High School for the morning services.
Need-to-Know
From 5:00–11:15am, access is limited to an alternating one-way lane via Atlanta Street to the West Lot of Austin High School:
- 9am Service Arrival - Inbound ONLY from 8:00–9:30am
- 9am Service Departure - Outbound ONLY from 10:00–10:40am
- 11am Service Arrival - Inbound ONLY from 10:40–11:15am
Avoid it all by parking at the Zilker surface lot and walking over!
Mopac
- Exit Mopac via Lake Austin Boulevard (southbound) or Lake Austin Boulevard (northbound).
- Continue and turn onto Atlanta Street (intersection is officer-controlled).
- Turn left onto Stephen F. Austin Drive/Veterans Drive to the West Lot.
Lamar
- Exit west on West 6th Street.
- Turn left onto Atlanta Street (intersection is officer-controlled).
- Turn left onto Stephen F. Austin Drive/Veterans Drive to the West Lot.
Zilker Parking
- Park at the Zilker surface lot under the Mopac Bridge, walking across the Roberta Crenshaw Pedestrian Bridge to access Austin High School.
