Support and Response
If you have any needs in this season of uncertainty and disruption, please let us know. Likewise, if you want to support those in need – whether financially or with your time or energy – let us connect you with opportunities to do so.
We love God, the church, the city, and the nations.
As restrictions have been placed on gatherings, our mission as a church is carried out in the ways we care for others, connect as the family of God, and grow as disciples of Jesus.
We care for others.
Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common… There was not a needy person among them. (Acts 4:32, 34a, ESV)
The COVID-19 pandemic has created many physical needs, giving the church an opportunity to show the compassion and grace of Jesus to one another and to our city. Share your needs with us, or sign up to help meet the needs of others.
We connect with God’s people.
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25, ESV)
God brings comfort and encouragement to His people through Christian community. We appreciate this gift all the more in our forced distance and isolation in this season. We want to help connect individuals to community and provide resources for existing communities to connect online.
We grow in Christ.
We are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, …when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. (Ephesians 4:15-16, ESV)
Invest your time in growing in knowledge, love, and obedience to Christ in this season. We have developed a number of opportunities for you to continue to learn and grow as disciples of Jesus from the comfort of your home.
We equip parents to shepherd children.
You shall teach [these commandments] diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. (Deuteronomy 6:7, ESV)
We are providing resources to help parents shepherd their kids and students, and worship God together as a family.
