Charis received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She then received her master's degree in Social Work from Samford University. Throughout her master’s degree, Charis gained experience as a clinical intern at the Center for Child Protection providing trauma-informed therapy services to victims of abuse and neglect.
Charis is deeply committed to seeing the transformative power of the gospel reflected in everyone’s lives. By integrating faith-based principles with therapeutic practices, she seeks to provide holistic care. Her specialization includes therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults ranging in ages from 7 to 20. For children and teens, Charis highly values family engagement throughout the therapeutic process.
Charis is passionate about caring for her community, and she volunteers in the nursery with The Austin Stone’s Kids Ministry and at Foster Parent Night Out. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, pickleball, games, and spending time with her family and friends.
