Leah obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Development from Texas State University. She then completed her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Leah is an LPC-A under the supervision of Crystal Wilkins, LPC-S, RPT-S, CCLS.
Leah believes that God is our sustainer and comforter, our safe place where we can find rest. She desires to reflect the safety and steadiness that God provides as she walks alongside those who are in a season of unsteadiness. Counseling through a biblical lens with the knowledge of our psychological makeup, she hopes to come alongside others as they seek the security and wholeness that God desires.
She has experience working in a hospital as a patient safety assistant where she experienced working with clients who are in crisis. She has experience working with patients in this setting that have depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, PTSD, and suicidal ideations.
