Mike graduated from Toccoa Falls College in 2018 with a Bachelor in Counseling Psychology and has completed his master's in Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University. Mike's path to becoming a professional counselor hasn't followed a traditional route. It's come from many unique life experiences paired with a renewed calling by God to partner with those working through difficult times in their lives. A natural-born people person, Mike has always been able to easily relate to anyone he meets and put them at ease with his relaxed demeanor. Mike's experience as a business owner and operator for most of his adult life, a foreign missionary, a husband of 31 years, a father of three adult children, and a grandfather of seven, gives him a unique perspective on many of the issues that we all face.
It's Mike's belief that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel if you're willing to do the work. Whether you are struggling with relational issues, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, problematic children, or anything else, Mike looks forward to walking alongside you as you progress toward thriving in the abundant life that God intended for you to have.
