Do you need a break from busy schedules of practices, tournaments, homework, chores, and recitals? What if there was a place for your family to enjoy refreshment and time together with Jesus?
Family Experience (FX) Retreat is a way for families at Downtown Congregation to get away from their daily activities and spend a weekend together making memories connecting with each other and other families at The Austin Stone. This weekend includes a gospel-centered teaching session for parents, a family devotional, a fun themed dinner, and a ton of time to play together and enjoy camp activities as a family. We hope families leave feeling encouraged, equipped, and empowered to continue family discipleship rhythms in their homes for years to come!
All activities and experiences are geared toward elementary, middle-school, and high-school-aged kids. Younger kids are welcome to join, but we will NOT have special programming for them so they can participate with the rest of the family!
