Discipleship Communities (DComms) at The Austin Stone are accountable, familial communities that pursue discipleship together. If being a disciple of Jesus means obeying what He teaches, loving what He loves, going where He leads, and enjoying the life He offers, then the goal of DComms is to help us do just that.
We are accountable because Jesus is worth it and life can be hard. Discipleship is both the aim and the means by which we become more like Him, so we can't assume being in proximity to others is enough.
