Malayia began her college career at UT Austin with high hopes of becoming a doctor. But coursework was more difficult than she expected and soon, Malayia began to buckle under the pressure of her pre-med studies. Crying out to God in desperation, Malayia began to form a true relationship with Jesus— she sought healing from her depression and found hope despite unmet expectations.
