In late March of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the issue of a shelter-in-place protocol issued by the Austin Public Health Department. In response, God gave vision to a business leader to help the health and witness of the Church of Austin through a “Marshall Plan” for the Church: A benevolence fund created to foster generous care within the Body of Christ, radical mercy in service to the city, and inter-congregational unity.
