An ultrasound and blood work during pregnancy revealed that Brandon and Julie’s baby boy would be born with Down syndrome and a stomach complication that would require surgery upon birth. While they grappled with the complexities this would bring to their family, they clung to their love for baby Caleb and to their trust in God’s goodness. Now as Caleb grows and brings so much joy to their lives, Brandon and Julie clearly see just how uniquely and artfully God creates each of His children.
