Yajaira Marmolejo is originally from the Rio Grande Valley, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas–Pan American. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked at a Christian radio station, served as volunteer staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and supported a Spanish-speaking church plant.
She later moved to Austin to pursue theological training, earning both a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Over the past four years, she has served at All Saints Presbyterian Church (PCA), where she played a key role in launching a Hispanic ministry. In this capacity, she provided leadership in congregational care, Bible teaching, discipleship, and counseling.
Through ministry and counseling, Yajaira has counseled children and teenagers going through difficult situations like identity issues, suicidal ideation and abuse. She has also counseled women struggling with depression, anxiety, pornography and sexual abuse. Her sessions are available in English and Spanish.
Yajaira was born in Mexico but grew up in the Rio Grande Valley. Personally, she has also struggled with depression and has experienced the struggle of singleness. She enjoys running, hiking, drinking coffee, reading and paddle boarding.
