
We are accountable because Jesus is worth it and life can be hard. Discipleship is both the aim and the means by which we become more like Him, so we can’t assume being in proximity to others is enough.
We are familial because the church is also God's family. The way we gather as brothers and sisters in Christ proclaims the gospel to the world and helps us persevere in faith.
