To know, love, obey, and share the Word of God is a call on the life of every believer. So to grow in our ability to study God’s Word deeply, handle it rightly, and share it with boldness is critical. But for most of us, regardless of how long we have studied the Bible, there are gaps in our understanding. God has given us pictures, images, and themes as pointers throughout Scripture to guide us as we seek to know Him more, but it can be easy to miss how they connect to the bigger picture. We might know stories, but we might miss the story.
So what themes run throughout the Bible, and how can they help us unlock the Bible as a whole? How does understanding the image of the garden, the bridegroom, or the city help us see Jesus more fully?
Join us September 7-8 as women from all campuses of The Austin Stone come together for training in biblical theology. Hands-on teaching from Nancy Guthrie will help us recognize and trace key themes repeated throughout Scripture to better understand God’s grand redemptive story. Interactive small group work, Q&A sessions, and worship will be integral components of the workshop.
We are praying God will use Women’s Workshop to equip women in our church to love God’s Word and be propelled to share that love in our city. We hope you will join us.
